3rd Sami Culture Policy Summit
Viermie K invites cultural actors in Sápmi and Nordic countries, international and indigenous experts, Sami culture organizations and artists, government agencies, politicians, civil servants, researchers and professionals as well as citizens with an interest in the Sami community.
The summit continues to contribute to the future of Sámi cultural policy and raises awareness about the Sámi cultural sector:
Sami agency in Sápmi and the Nordic countries – Legal frameworks and public policies – S.O.S. First Aid (art) Kit – What next?
By inviting Sami and other experts we want to explore examples of policy and development. Highlighting progress, legal grounds and challenges, mixed with cultural performances, the Summit aims to strengthen democracy and the Sámi culture policies in Sápmi.
